Generic Temovate Clobetasol (Japanese: クロベタゾール ) Cream is not
meant for you if you are allergic to clobetasol. Before using it, tell your
doctor if you have allergy to any drugs, or if you have any type of skin
infection. It is important to notify your physician about medical conditions
like diabetes. Topical steroid medicines absorbed through the skin may enhance
the glucose (sugar) levels in your blood or urine. Generic Temovate Clobetasol
has been listed under FDA pregnancy category C. This medication may be unsafe
to a fetus. Your doctor must be informed if you are pregnant or plan to become
pregnant during treatment. Since it is not clear whether clobetasol topical is excreted
into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby, it is not recommended for
use in such cases. Do not apply this medicine on a child without a doctor's guidance.
Children are more susceptible to absorb high level of a topical steroid through
the skin. Steroid absorption in children may obstruct their growth with
long-term use. Talk with your doctor if you think your child is not growing at
a normal rate while using this medication over a long treatment period.
